San Francisco Bay Area Annual Holiday Party

San Francisco Bay Area
Saturday, December 1, 2018 -
11:00am to 3:30pm

Overlooking the Sausalito Harbor in Marin, the renownded Spinnaker Restaurant was the venue for the 2018 San Francisco Bay Area holiday party and member recognition celebration, an event that spans six decades. Nearly 75 members were present for the celebration, preceded by show-and-shine of member cars in the parking area adjoining the marina and highlighted by a impressive hors d'oeuvres and luncheon repast organized by a club member who is food and beverage manager for the Spinnaker. Following the lovely desert, outgoing president Lou Piccinini and past president Gloria Loventhal, who had organized the party, introduced incoming officers, and with Western Regional Director Lance Taylor-Williams introduced incoming officers and presented officer and member of the year awards.  Previewing an active 2019, various officers discussed the events already on the calendar for the section.

Pictures shown below illustrate the Show and Shine display of cars from various vintages, and the gathering in the Spinnaker, in a lovely dining room overlooking the Bay. A gathering of gifts for Toys for Tots was part of the raffle activity. Three presidents were present, current president Lou Piccinini, incoming president Mikey Vasquez and past president Gloria Loventhal.
